I love making alternate illsutrated posters for upcoming bollywood films. The one that recently caught my attention was Udta Punjab, a film based on the issue of drug trafficking in Punjab. The film was recently in the news for the enormous censorship cuts imposed on the film and even a threat to ban it. This prompted me to make a punk inspired alternate poster for the film.
I borrowed inspiration from the 70s-80s Underground Punk music posters. A lot of grunge and halftones.
