In May 2023, I was approached by CRED, an Indian fintech company, to create a series of visuals for the theme "Future of P2P payments." To my delight, this was a very open-ended brief, granting me all the creative freedom to conceptualize the most ambitious and outlandish futuristic concepts. The clients expressed interest in utilizing AI-generated images for the visuals, presenting an intriguing challenge. I decided to adopt a photo collage visual style inspired by retro science magazines and book covers, allowing for a healthy balance of AI imagery while infusing my own creative expression. The concept I explored centered around an inter-multiverse P2P payment system named 'Quantum Pay,' enabling individuals to transact with their alternate selves scattered across the multiverse.
For this project, I adopted an experimental approach, leveraging AI-enabled tools and image generators to explore an optimized model for image creation. Utilizing Midjourney AI, all components and individual images were generated, with backgrounds then separated using Adobe AI and Apple's built-in sticker maker tool within the Photos app. Subsequently, the images underwent compositing and editing using Procreate and Adobe Illustrator. This process facilitated a seamless integration of technology and creativity, resulting in visually compelling outcomes.
