'Lore of the Land' is an illustrated story book written by Nalini Ramachandran, that follows the journey of Mohini across India as she discovers the rich storytelling traditions of the land. I was responsible for all the artworks in the book and also for designing the characters of Mohini and her spirit friend Katha. The artwork is inspired and is based on the several traditional art forms of India such as Madhubani, Warli, Saanjhi to name a few.
Lore of the Land was published by Puffin books, a division of Penguin Randomhouse India.
