In 2020, I worked with the Danish Cultural Institute in India on several projects under their roster as a design consultant. I designed a series of posters for their various events which highlighted their cross cultural programs that celebrated the rich collaboration between India and Denmark.
The Tharangambadi Festival was one such festival held in the town of Tharangambadi in Tamil Nadu, formerly known as Tranquebar, it was one of the only Danish colonies in India. Establish as a Danish trading post in 1620, it completed 400 years in 2020. The poster design for the festival was a homage to the vibrant and colourful autorickshaw designs and political graffiti one can see all across Tharangambadi.
Poster design for Danish Electronic music duo Den Sorte Skole and light artist Vertigo's debut show in India. The show titled 'Ghosts and Robots' debuted at the Jaisalmer fort in 2023 as part of the Panorama Editions Volume 3. The poster design was inspired by the vibrant neon palettes of the retro Indian circus posters that can be seen plastered across Indian towns.
